Pueblo City Schools launch 2018 Summer Lunch Program

Pueblo City Schools announced the start of the 2018 Summer Lunch Program. 

The program is free for all children ages one to 18. The program started on June 4 and will run through July 29 at a number of different school locations.

Pueblo City Schools says the program is to help promote healthy eating habits even during the hot summer months. "Eating nutritious foods helps ensure students retain their hard learned knowledge… and to help them to keep right on learning throughout the summer."

Here is the list of locations and hours:

Meals will be served June 4 through June 29 at:

Cesar Chavez Academy   2500 W. 18th St.        11:30-12:30 M-Thursday

Meals will be served June 11 through July 29 at:

Centennial High School           2525 Mountview Dr.      11:00-12:30 M-F

Risley Middle School               625 Monument Ave.      11:30-12:30 M-F

Morton                                    1900 W 31st St.              11:30-12:30 M-F

Minnequa                              1708 E Orman Ave        11:30-12:30 M-F

Belmont                                31 Mac Naughton Rd     11:30-12:30 M-F
