Colorado Springs Police officers received reports of juveniles waving guns around and trying to break into cars in Memorial Park Saturday night.
Officers received reports of a number of juveniles waving guns around, trying to get into cars near the skate park just after 7:30 p.m. Police said one of the cars described in the call was reported stolen.
Once officers arrived on scene, they saw four juveniles matching the descriptions of those reported near the skate park. The juveniles then fled the scene on foot, where a witness saw them a block away from the park, police said.
Police set up a perimeter in the area, but no suspects were found.
All suspects are believed to be juveniles, according to police. Officers were later able to recover the stolen car left at the park.
The investigation is ongoing.
