Bridge dedication in Colorado Springs to honor Pearl Harbor survivor

On Friday, the Fillmore Street Bridge over I-25 in Colorado Springs will be named in honor of one of the few remaining Pearl Harbor survivors. 

95-year-old Don Stratton, one of only a handful of remaining survivors from the attack on the USS Arizona, will be honored during a ceremony.

The Navy veteran was on the USS Arizona during the infamous attack on Pearl Harbor, and was one of only 300 sailors to survive.

Seaman First Class Stratton has been a resident of Colorado Springs for the past decade.

Dignitaries from around the world are expected to attend the ceremony Friday, which will be held at the Holiday Village on Sinton Road.
