The Colorado State Patrol is investigating the cause of a serious accident on Teller County Road 81 near Highway 67. Teller County Road 81 is the turn off from Highway 67 to Victor, near the old town of Gillette. Highway 67 is open at this time. Teller County Road 81 is closed until further notice.
The accident involving a semi-truck and a car left one person dead and another in the hospital.
