The massive Ute Park fire in northern New Mexico has now burned over 27-thousand acres as of Sunday morning. Officials say at this time, zero percent of the fire has been contained.

The fire, which began on Thursday, has led to the evacuation of several towns, including Cimarron. Roughly a dozen unoccupied structures have burned down and hundreds more are being threatened.

Several shelters have been set up in the region to help those forced to flee their homes in the fire’s path. Hundreds of firefighters are battling the blaze.

The cause of the fire is still unknown and there are no reports of injuries.
