John Elway will be the first to tell you, playing at the Broadmoor Golf Club is no cake walk.

"It’s a hard golf course especially with how the greens are and I’m sure with the conditions, the rough being up and the greens being at the top end speed wise. It’s a scary golf course to play, especially for us amateur golfers there’s some big numbers out here so that always worries ya," said Elway.

So it should come as no surprise that those same greens were too much for the Broncos Hall of Fame quarterback, finishing at 10 over par on the day and well behind the two golfers moving on.

Doug Rohrbaugh finished at one under par, Chris Johnson ended the day at two over to advance to the US Senior Open.
