Evacuations orders have been lifted for a grass fire south of Pikes Peak International Raceway Tuesday afternoon.
The fire burned between five to seven acres and is now being mopped up by fire crews. A shed on the property sustained some damage.
The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office put pre-evacuation notices for the following areas, the 20500 block of Camino Real Point, Indian Village to the north, Calle Bernardo Point to the south, I-25 to the east, and Boca Raton to the west.
The cause is under investigation.
