Colorado Springs Police have made a second arrested in a double shooting last weekend.

Detectives said they arrested 19-year-old Marquis Dantre Hazard and he is now facing changes of first degree murder.

The victims were found shot to death on April 21 in the 300 block of Bergamo Way and Lower Gold Camp Road, near Bear Creek Dog Park.  The victims have been identified as 21-year-old Serena Lee Garcia of Parker and 20-year-old Marcus Howard Denton of Colorado Springs.

Their bodies were found hours after officers responded to a report of a disturbance in the 4800 block of Pacer Lane on Saturday afternoon. One of the people involved in the situation told officers that they would find two people dead in a vehicle on the west side of town. They didn’t give police any information as to where that vehicle was located.

On Sunday, officers arrested 19-year-old Nashid Rayon Rivers who is also facing first degree murder charges in the deaths.
