We now know the name of the woman found shot to death in the 5100 block of Airport Rd. on April 22nd. The El Paso County Coroner’s Office identified the female as 21-year old Brandie Preciado, a resident of Colorado Springs.
Officers responded to a shooting at the Canyon Ridge Mobile Home Park near Airport and Powers. When they arrived, they found Preciado deceased and a man suffering from critical injuries from a gunshot wound. another was transported to a local hospital with critical injuries.
After the investigation, the Colorado Springs Police Department’s Violent Crimes Homicide Unit obtained an arrest warrant on the charge of Murder in the First Degree for 34-year old William Camacho, Jr. Camacho is described as a Hispanic male 5’9”, 160-185 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. Camacho has a tattoo along his forehead hairline, which is visible when his hair is short.
