Colorado Springs police are investigating the deaths of a man and a woman found in a car Saturday night on Lower Gold Camp Rd. west of the Bear Creek Dog Park.

Officers responded to a report of a disturbance in the 4800 block of Pacer Lane earlier in the day in Stetson Hills. One of the people involved in the situation told officers that they would find two people dead in a vehicle on the west side of town. They didn’t give police any information as to where that vehicle was located.

Police spent hours searching the west side and around around 9:30 p.m. Saturday night, officers received a phone call concerning a suspicious vehicle on Lower Gold Camp Rd. west of 21st street.

When officers arrived, they found a man and a woman dead inside the vehicle from apparent gunshot wounds. The victim’s names and their connection to the earlier disturbance in Stetson Hills have not been revealed by police at this time.
