Organizations offer help to families in need during 117 Fire

Those who need help in the wake of the 117 Fire can get help this weekend from several local nonprofits.

Care and Share Food Bank will have food available from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 21 at Hanover High School. Hanover High School is located at 17050 S. Peyton Hwy., 80928.

Discover Goodwill will also be providing vouchers and gift cards for use at Goodwill Stores.

Hanover Outreach Community Pantry is helping to provide food and other items as well. The organization has more information posted on theirFacebook pagefor those who may need help and also for those who would like to volunteer.

God’s Pantry Ministries will have someone on-site 24 hours through Monday, April 23 at 5:00 p.m. They are located at 102 N. Main St., Fountain, CO, 80817 and can be reached at (719) 382-0643. The group said they will provide food and clothing to those in need.
