COLORADO SPRINGS — A motorcyclist is dead following a crash Friday night.
According to the Colorado Springs Police Department, the motorcyclist was speeding when they exited southbound I-25 at the Bijou exit.
The motorcyclist crashed into a car at the exit. Officers said the driver of the car is all right and the motorcyclist died on scene.
CSPD said it's unclear as of now if the motorcyclist was wearing a helmet.
When the El Paso County Coroner conducts an autopsy we'll learn if any drugs or alcohol were involved.
This is the 36th traffic related death in Colorado Springs this year.
