What: It's going to be a busy weekend for sports in Colorado Springs as the 18th annual Rocky Mountain State Games kick of this weekend.
Where: Olympic Training Center, National Strength & Conditioning Association, University of Colorado - Colorado Springs, Colorado College, and Memorial Park
When: July 19-21 and 26-28
Admission: For Basketball & Track & Field events only - Daily admission fees: Adults (13 & over): $5. Youth 12 & under are admitted free. Weekend Pass: $12.

Learn about the wonders of space and the historic Apollo 11 moon landing
What: Join us during Summer of Discovery “Build!” as we celebrate the landing of Apollo 11 and commemorate the first human steps on the Moon! We will have activities for all ages to enjoy, including building rockets, Apollo activities and crafts, play along with our Apollo virtual reality, food trucks, drive a rover in our Lockheed Martin Mars Robotics Laboratory, and more.

Get out and enjoy the warm weather with a walk
What: Bear Creek Park Walk - The Falcon Wanderers Walking Club invites you for some fun, fitness, and friendship at this non-competitive walking event. The 6 & 10 kilometer (K) routes will be on Regional and Nature Trails within the park.
Pets are not allowed for this event, due to the Nature Trails. Both the 6K & 10K trails are rated as moderate walks (3C), due to the uneven ground, altitude, and elevation gain. Walking sticks are recommended. Strollers and wheelchairs are not recommended.
Where: The walk begins and ends at the El Paso County Parks Administration Building, 2002 Creek Crossing Street, Colorado Springs, CO 80905.
