After an abundance of October snowfall, ski resorts will continue to enjoy nice early season conditions under dry skies this weekend.

Monarch Mountain will operate this weekend from Friday to Sunday, with skiing on more than 20 trails. It's the second weekend in a row with skiing and riding at Monarch Mountain.

Several other Colorado resorts will open up this weekend for the season. Breckenridge and Copper Mountain will both open for the 2019-20 season on Friday. Next weekend sees at least two more resort openings, with Vail and Steamboat opening up to the public next Friday, November 15th. This will be Steamboat's earliest opening ever!

Monarch Mountain, which only relies on natural snow, still boasts a mid-mountain base of 14". Loveland and Keystone are reporting mid-mountain bases of 18".

No snow is in the forecast this weekend. Friday will be cool and windy. Warmer temperatures expected for Saturday in the high country under sunny skies. Increasing clouds and cooler temperatures return on Sunday, with the next chance for mountain snow moving in late Sunday night and Monday.

Enjoy the beautiful weather and dry road conditions, and be safe on the slopes.
