Fall is almost here and we've compiled a list of all the fun events and festivals going on across Colorado Ski County.

Arapahoe Basin Ski Area: Oktoberfest - September 14th

Hosted in the Mountain Goat Plaza, Arapahoe Basin’s first annual Oktoberfest will feature live Austrian folk music, Paulaner beer, giant pretzels, bratwurst and schnitzel sandwiches. Guests can catch live performances by Those Austrian Guys and take advantage of free chairlift rides to close out the summer. Yoga and Disc Golf continues through September 15. Aspen Snowmass: Jazz Aspen - August 31 - September 2nd

Jazz Aspen Snowmass is a community staple in the Roaring Fork Valley, known for its legendary and entertaining lineup. New this year, families can kick-start their 3-day Oktoberfest celebration on Friday with a biergarten featuring authentic German beer, Oktoberfest-style local craft beer, root beer, pretzel toss, authentic Bavarian food, and live music. The event also hosts live musical acts throughout each day, stein hoisting competitions, Bavarian costume contests and a 5K, 10K and Family Fun 1K race on Sunday.

Prost! To one of the first ways to Celebrate Oktoberfest in the Nation. Going strong for twenty-five years as one of the first chances to Oktoberfest in North America, Breckenridge Oktoberfest brings a weekend of celebration, German cuisine and plenty of Paulaner beer. It is one of the largest Oktoberfests in the Rocky Mountain region and offers collectible steins imported directly from Germany.

Copper Mountain: Copper Country - August 30 - September 1st

Crested Butte: Chili & Beer Festival - September 7th

Mt. Crested Butte’s 21st annual Chili and Beer Festival, hosted by the Crested Butte / Mt. Crested Butte Chamber of Commerce, returns to the Crested Butte Mountain Resort base area. With locally made chili, tasty craft beer and live music, this locals’ favorite event is not to be missed.

Soak in your final scenic chairlift rides or cruise your last few Crested Butte Mountain Bike Park laps of the season, Oct. 5-6. The Bike Park, Adventure Park, zipline tours, disc golf and archery courses will all be open for the season, so help us send the summer season out with a bang!

Granby Ranch: Oktoberfest - September 29th

Dig out the lederhosen and bring out the family for Keystone’s 7th Annual Oktoberfest taking place in the River Run Village on Saturday, August 31st. Start the day with the River Run Merchant Tent Sale along with the Das Bier Burner 5K Run and get primed for the festivities later in the day. The Summit Concert Band kicks off the music at 1pm with Keystone's local favorite, Those Austrian Guys, taking the stage from 2 to 6pm. There will be plenty of kid’s activities including free face painters, crafts, the Edelweiss Schuhplattlers, and Polka Dancers, along with a River Run Merchant tent sale to clear out the summer inventory.

Powderhorn Resort: Gears & Beers Festival - August 31st

Enjoy live music, multiple beer and wine vendors and a day full of biking. This weekend will also be the 4th stop of the Revolution Enduro Series making for some excellent spectating opportunities. Purgatory Resort: Marmot Mountain Trail Race - September 21st

Purgatory Resort is hosting The Mountain Marmot on September 21, an epic trail race in beautiful southwest Colorado. The 12-mile course winds through blazing aspen stands and features some of the most amazing single-track trails in Colorado. Start at the base of Purgatory Resort and run to the top (make sure to stop for some mountaintop bacon!) and down again. Throughout the span of four days vintage, exotic, and high-end restoration vehicles are showcased throughout town. Vail Resort: Taste of Vail Fall Wine & Food Classic, September 20-21th

The only thing more spectacular than unlimited tastings from more than 13 local restaurants and 50 wineries is the gorgeous fall foliage scenery during the Fall Wine & Food Classic. Plus, events to work up an appetite include Bike & Brunch, Yoga in the Park, and a hike on Vail Mountain followed by brunch featuring wine tastings and education.

Vail Resort: FestiVail - November 21-29th

This Thanksgiving, Vail is debuting its new holiday tradition: FestiVail, a week-long celebration of the Thanksgiving holiday season and an official kickoff of the 2019-2020 winter season. From November 21-29, FestiVail will offer family-oriented activities throughout Vail Village, including cooking classes, ice skating, a Gobble Gobble Hike, Explosion of Lights and a Kris Kringle Market. A signature 10th Mountain Legacy Parade will also take place along the streets of Vail, honoring veterans and commemorating the legacy of Vail’s founders.
