Just about 30 hours after we welcomed Hayes into the world we were off to introduce him to his brothers. You can watch the video portion of this to see Mav and Rhett welcome their brother home.
Maverick absolutely loves being a big brother and is helping with everything and then some. Hayden will forever go by “Brick” when it comes to Mav and I love it.
Rhett is still unsure. He’ll sneak over and check on Hayden but doesn’t want anyone to know he got too close to him. Still insists mom and dad put “baby away”.
We can’t wait for Hayden to meet all of our family and friends, once it is safe. Lucky for us, my mom has been quarantined and was able to come spend some special time with all the boys and myself.
It’s a good time to have mom there because despite all the good- the healing process and breastfeeding... ouch! I’ll talk more on that in the future.
Honestly though, I’ve never felt so much joy in my life as this moment in time- watching all my boys together. I’m soaking in EVERYTHING.
And I am so lucky to have a hubby that genuinely loves being a dad, it makes the transition with a newborn so much easier.

P.S. Maverick now insists on dressing himself and decided to put tiger tattoos on his face the day we came home from the hospital. These things should be considered semi-permanent.
