COLORADO SPRINGS — The Humane Society is warning that 4th of July activities can be tough on our pets.
Busy back yards, going in and out of doors and loud noises can make pets anxious.
That is why proper tags or ID chips can help if your pet gets lost.
Noise can be a problem, so if in doubt, it is best to play it safe and keep them indoors.
Of course, never take your pets to a firework display.
The Humane Society will be open on July 4th with reduced hours and expect to be busy on Friday.
