Here are a few of the events going on Around Town this weekend.

Women’s Marches

Women’s Marches are going on all across the country this weekend, including here in Southern Colorado. Marches will be going on in both Colorado Springs and Pueblo this weekend. The march for Colorado Springs will be Saturday at 2 pm beginning at City Hall. Pueblo’s march will begin Saturday at 12 pm on the steps of the county courthouse.

Tesla’s Toolbox

The Space Foundation Discovery Center will hold a Tesla’s Toolbox day focused on how things work and how technology has evolved. The hands-on educational fun for ages 10 and up will last from 10 am to 4 pm on Saturday. Everything is included in regular admission, $10 for adults and $5 for kids 5-17. Lunar Eclipse Viewing

The Air Force Academy Planetarium will offer an opportunity to view this Sunday’s Lunar Eclipse. The evening will start at 7 pm and will include a film about the moon, a discussion with the observatory director, and an outdoor viewing through telescopes. There is no cost and reservations are not required, simply arrive through the North Gate beginning at 6:30 pm.

National Western Stock Show

We’re halfway through the National Western Stock Show in Denver at the National Western Complex. Events will run through the 27th with plenty of opportunities to check out the rodeo, mutton bustin’, animal shows, Cowboy Church, and more. Access to the ground will start at $10 for adults, $3 for kids 3-11. Additional tickets will be required for special events. Find more information here.
