Here are a few of the events going on around town this weekend.

Chipeta Park Craft Fair

Chipeta Park will host its 15th annual arts and crafts fair this weekend. From 9 am to 4 pm on Saturday and 9 am to 3 pm on Sunday Marcroft Hall in Chipeta Park will be filled with hand-crafted silver, stained glass, pottery, woodcrafts, knitwear, baked goods, and much more to help you get a jump on holiday shopping. Rocky Mountain Women’s Film Festival

The longest running women’s film festival in North America will be going on this weekend. Films including documentaries, narrative shorts, and animated films will be shown beginning at 9 am on both Saturday and Sunday at multiple locations in Colorado Springs. Bear Run

Bear Creek Nature Center will have their 4th annual Bear Run on Saturday. It’s a fun walk/run event with all participants wearing bear costumes to make things interesting. The run begins at 10 am and will follow the nature trails and regional trail at Bear Creek Regional Park. Arrive by 9:30 am to check in and enjoy the pre-race festivities. After the run there will be vendors and a costume contest. Registration runs between $10 and $60. Register and find more information here.

All Colorado Beer Festival

Over 60 brewers from all over Colorado will bring hundreds of different beers to the Chapel Hills Event Center for the 12th Annual All Colorado Beer Festival. There will be two sessions starting at 1 pm and 6:30 pm. VIP access is available 1 hour ahead of each session for an additional $10. General admission will be $40 ahead of time and $45 at the door.
