It’s the weekend before Halloween and there are plenty of ways to celebrate.

Boo At The Zoo

Boo at the Zoo continues this weekend. Cheyenne Mountain Zoo will have all of the treats and none of the tricks for the little ones to enjoy the season. From 4 pm to 8:30 pm Friday – Sunday and Halloween night there will be Halloween activities and fun with the zoo animals. Admission will be $17.75 with advanced purchase online. It’s Stitches Time

The Dinosaur Resource Center in Woodland Park is hosting a Halloween Event this Saturday. It’s Stitches Time will feature Stitches the Scarecrow sharing Halloween stories along with craft projects, costume contests, a parade, treat bags, and fun from 1 pm to 3 pm. All of the activities are included in the price of admission, $11.50 for adults and $7.50 for kids. Find more information here.

Monster Mash

The Colorado Springs Philharmonic will celebrate Halloween with performances of “Monster Mash” featuring scary tricks and musical treats. Performances at the Pikes Peak Center will be at 7:30 pm both Friday and Saturday with tickets starting at $26. Buy tickets and find more information here.

Coffin Races

One of the most popular Halloween events in the area is back this weekend in Manitou Springs! The Emma Crawford Coffin Races will take over the streets beginning at noon on Saturday. Over 50 teams consisting of one Emma and four Runners will race down Manitou Avenue to compete for prizes. The event is free and there will be no shortage of Halloween fun.
