Here are a few of the events going on around town this weekend.

Pack Burro Race

Victor will hold a Pack Burro Race this Saturday. The over 6 mile race will begin in downtown Victor at noon followed by socializing with the burros, voting for the nicest,  live music, and a beer garden. The event is free for spectators. Find more informationhere.

Sons of Italy Italian Festival

Sons of Italy will hold their 6th Annual Italian Festival in Cañon City this Saturday. From 10 am to 10 pm you’ll find all things Italian in Veteran’s Park. There will be Italian food like pizza, spaghetti, cannoli, and more along with a beer and wine garden, bounce houses, and Italian merchandise. There will also be live entertainment all day with accordion players, the Salida Circus, Shelvis (a female Elvis impersonator), and The Roustabouts. Admission is $2 for adults. Kids are free. What IF Festival

The 9th annual What IF Festival will bring a day of wows, innovation, and imagination to downtown Colorado Springs this Saturday. Six city blocks will be full of engaging and interactive experiences involving robotics, painting, engineering, medical innovations, solar power, and more. There will also be a food court and on stage performances. The free event will run from 10 am to 4 pm. Find more information here.

Bruja Brew Festival

Bruja Brew Festival will bring craft brewers from all around Colorado to Pueblo this Saturday. Between 6 pm and 10 pm the brewers will take over the El Pueblo History Museum with plenty of beer and cider samples to go along with food vendors and live entertainment. Tickets are $40 at the door, $30 presale. Proceeds will benefit education programs at the museum. Buy tickets and find more information here.
