COLORADO SPRINGS — A 9-year-old found in the waters of Prospect Lake at Memorial Park can thank four witnesses who pulled him out of the water near a storm culvert.
According to Colorado Springs Fire Department personnel, the boy was taken out of the water and immediately given life-saving CPR. The boy was able to walk to the ambulance to be checked out by medics before heading to the hospital.
News5 is working to learn more about the incident, as we do not know if the child was alone, swimming in the area, or possibly fell in the water. We'll pass along any updates online and on-air.
