Today’s Forecast:
We're going to see a lot of wind in Colorado over the next 48 hours, but really nice weather by the end of the week! A cold front will push through Colorado early this morning, bringing wind gusts in the 30 to 40 mph range in its wake. The strongest gusts today will be along and especially east of I-25 from the morning through early afternoon. Overnight we'll stay fairly breezy with increasing cloud cover and wind chills dropping to the single digits and negatives.

COLORADO SPRINGS: High: 47; Low: 18. Mostly sunny to partly cloudy with max wind gusts between 35 to 40 mph.

PUEBLO: High: 52; Low: 19. Mostly sunny and mild with max wind gusts between 40 to 45 mph.

CANON CITY: High: 48; Low: 21. Mostly sunny with a few more clouds in the afternoon and max wind gusts between 35 to 40 mph.

WOODLAND PARK: High: 35; Low: 8. Mostly sunny to partly cloudy with max wind gusts between 35 to 40 mph.

TRI-LAKES: High: 30s; Low: 10s. Mostly sunny to partly cloudy with max wind gusts between 35 to 40 mph.

PLAINS: High: 50s; Low: 20s. Mostly sunny and mild with max wind gusts between 40 to 45 mph.

WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: High: 40s; Low: 10s. Mostly sunny and mild with max wind gusts between 30 to 35 mph.

Extended Outlook:
Overnight we'll stay breezy, but more strong winds return on Tuesday, particularly through the afternoon. We're more likely to see 40 to 50 mph gusts on Tuesday with much colder daytime temperatures. We'll be cold and calm Tuesday night but winds temps in the single digits. Wednesday is going to be sunny and warmer with light winds. We'll be dry through the extended with 50s and 60s by the weekend!
