Today’s Forecast:
We're forecasting pretty nice weather overall today, but there still might be a stray afternoon shower that develops. Most of the region should plan on staying dry, but there will be isolated showers that develop over a few mountain summits and travel east into the plains. If we hear any thunder, that chance seems best into far NE El Paso County. There could be a flurry in the mountains around Teller County this evening.

COLORADO SPRINGS: High: 68; Low: 39. A mix of sun and clouds today with warm and breezy daytime conditions, and a small chance for an isolated shower, or even a thunder-shower in the afternoon,.

PUEBLO: High: 76; Low: 33. Mostly sunny with a few daytime clouds, a gusty afternoon breeze and warm daytime temperatures. Rain chances are incredibly slim today for Pueblo.

CANON CITY: High: 74; Low: 42. Mostly sunny with more daytime clouds and warmer afternoon conditions. A stray daytime shower is possible but unlikely.

WOODLAND PARK: High: 59; Low: 33. A mix of sun and clouds today with mild and breezy daytime conditions. Isolated showers are possible in the afternoon, with a flurry also possible over the Teller County mountains in the evening.

TRI-LAKES: High: 60s; Low: 30s. A mix of sun and clouds with mild daytime conditions. Isolated showers could develop in the afternoon, but it's more likely we'll stay dry.

PLAINS: High: 70s; Low: 30s. We'll see a warm day with lots of sunshine, and a chance for stray late day/early evening showers mostly north of highway 50. Most towns east of El Paso and Pueblo counties should plan on staying dry.

WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: High: 60s; Low: 30s. Warm and windy at times today with a mix of sun and clouds, and a small chance for an isolated daytime shower.

Extended Outlook:
Saturday looks fantastic through the region with mostly sunny skies followed by building afternoon clouds and very warm daytime temperatures. Eastern Sunday is going to be cold, windy, and pack light to moderate snow. Snow chances are best in northern El Paso County and Teller County, with down slope drying probably keeping central and southern Colorado Springs with little accumulation. Not much snow is expected to blow or accumulate south of El Paso and Teller Counties Sunday. We'll be unsettled next week with chilly daytime temperatures.
