Today’s Forecast:
Fire danger is high once again today across Colorado, particularly for areas along and north of the Palmer Divide. We're going to see highs in the 80s across the region with gusty afternoon winds and very low relative humidity.

COLORADO SPRINGS: High: 82; Low: 44. Sunny and windy with very high fire danger through the afternoon and early evening hours.

PUEBLO: High: 87; Low: 40. Sunny and hot today with gusty daytime winds and elevated fire danger.

CANON CITY: High: 84; Low: 46. Sunny and warm with gusty afternoon conditions leading to elevated fire danger.

WOODLAND PARK: High: 71; Low: 39. Sunny and nice temperatures but with gusty winds and elevated fire danger.

TRI-LAKES: High: 70s; Low: 30s. Warm and windy in the afternoon with high fire danger into the early evening hours.

PLAINS: High: 80s; Low: 40s. Hot and dry today with elevated fire danger in the afternoon and evening hours.

WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: High: 80s; Low: 40s. Hot and breezy today with elevated fire danger.

Extended Outlook:
The winds should be lighter tomorrow but temperatures will remain mostly unchanged from what we see today. We'll stay warm and dry all week with fire danger generally elevated. Temperatures will dip over the weekend with a big pattern change by Sunday. There will be rain and snow coming to the mountains on Sunday, some of that might be able to come down here to the lower elevations.
