Warm Conditions Will Stick Around Along With the Chance for Some Thunderstorms

Tonight's Forecast:
Showers and storms will start to wrap up overnight, and clouds will also clear out. There will be plenty of sunshine to start off another work week. Overnight lows for southern Colorado will be in the 50s and 60s.

Colorado Springs forecast: Low: 60; High: 90;
Colorado Springs will have lows in the lower 60s. There will be an isolated chance for some thunderstorms in the later part of the afternoon. Highs will reach the lower 90s.

Pueblo forecast: Low: 63; High: 95;
Pueblo will have lows in the lower 60s. Not everyone will see rain tomorrow, and these storms will be more isolated than Sunday. Flash flooding will continue to be an issue closer to the Aspen Acres Burn Scar. Afternoon highs will get into the mid-90s.

Canon City forecast: Low: 64; High: 92;
Canon City will have morning temperatures in the mid-60s. The chance of rain increases in the afternoon and evening. There will be a chance for some gusty winds and localized heavy rain with these storms. Highs in the afternoon will get into the lower 90s.

Woodland Park forecast: Low: 52; High: 81;
Woodland Park will continue to have daily rain chances with storms popping up in the afternoon. Winds will be breezy and rain may be heavy at times. Afternoon highs on Monday will reach the lower 80s.

Tri-Lakes forecast: Low: 56; High: 85;
Monument will wake up to temperatures in the mid-50s. These warmer temperatures will arrive by the afternoon with highs reaching the mid-80s. There will be a chance for storms in the afternoon.

Plains forecast: Low: 60s; High: 90s & 100s;
The eastern plains will have some storms roll through overnight, but will clear out by the morning. There will be plenty on sunshine, and by the time we get to the afternoon there will be a chance of some rain. Afternoon highs will get into the 90s and 100s.

Walsenburg and Trinidad forecast: Low: 61/60; High: 90/93;
The southern I-25 corridor will have overnight lows in the lower 60s. Clouds increase throughout the day and there will be a chance of some afternoon storms. The bulk of the rain will arrive on Tuesday. Highs will get into the lower 90s.

Mountains forecast: Low: 50s; High: 80s;
The mountains will continue to have that recycled moisture and thus rain chances each afternoon. Morning temperatures will dip into the 50s. By the afternoon these temperatures will warm into the 80s.

Extended outlook forecast:
Looking ahead, conditions will remain active. Tuesday and Wednesday looks to be when we get the bulk of our rain. Flash flooding will continue to be an issue, especially towards the Aspen Acres Burn Scar. Highs will dip around this time as well. As this high builds back towards the later part of the week it will cut of some of that monsoonal moisture. This will decrease those rain chances headed into the following weekend.
