Today’s Forecast:
Fairly pleasant and calm weather is expected across southern Colorado today. We're going to see partly cloudy to mostly sunny skies for the first half of the day, with increasing cloud cover into the overnight hours. Temperatures will run into the 50s across the lower elevations, and mid to upper 40s out across the mountains.

We will stay dry today here at home, but light snow will run through the central and northern mountains tonight, giving several ski areas a dusting to an inch or snow.

COLORADO SPRINGS: High: 51; Low: 29. Increasing clouds through the afternoon with light winds and mild daytime temperatures.

PUEBLO: High: 55; Low: 26. Mostly sunny through the day with warm temperatures and fairly light winds.

CANON CITY: High: 55; Low: 34. Increasing clouds through the afternoon with a light breeze and warm daytime temperatures.

WOODLAND PARK: High: 47; Low: 24. Increasing clouds in the afternoon with a light breeze and cool daytime temperatures.

TRI-LAKES: High: 40/50s; Low: 20s. Increasing clouds through the afternoon with light winds and cool daytime temperatures.

PLAINS: High: 50s; Low: 20s. Mostly sunny and slightly breezy today with dry skies and warm daytime temperatures.

WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: High: 50s; Low: 20/30s. Increasing clouds through the afternoon and breezy with mild daytime temperatures.

Extended Outlook:
Saturday is going to be gorgeous with a cloudy start to the day and sunny skies through the afternoon, with temperatures around 2 to 4 degrees warmer than what we'll see today. Sunday now looks cloudier, and a degree or two colder than what we'll see on Sunday. Monday is going to be mild, but with a wintry mix or even showers across the forecast region. Snow totals look minimal across the area. There is another chance for very light snow on Wednesday.
