Today’s Forecast:
It's the first day of winter and the start of Christmas week! Oddly enough, it'll feel a lot more like an early Spring day than the first day of Winter. We're going to have lighter winds today compared to Sunday, but it'll still be breezy in the mountains. Temperatures will be well above average with highs in the 50s, but overnight lows should still fall down to the 20s.

COLORADO SPRINGS: High: 55; Low: 27. Breezy and warm with sunny skies mixed with clouds at times.

PUEBLO: High: 56; Low: 20. Light winds and mostly sunny skies with warm daytime temperatures.

CANON CITY: High: 56; Low: 33. Breezy and sunny with some clouds mixed in and nice daytime temperatures.

WOODLAND PARK: High: 48; Low: 25. Windy and times and partly sunny with crisp daytime temperatures.

TRI-LAKES: High: 40s; Low: 20s. Breezy at times and mild with dry skies.

PLAINS: High: 50s; Low: 20s. Mostly sunny with light winds and dry skies.

WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: High: 50s; Low: 20s. Windy at times with sunny skies and warm daytime temperatures.

MOUNTAINS: High: 40/50s; Low: 20s. Windy again over the mountains, but not as much as Sunday. We'll be mild and dry throughout the region.

Extended Outlook:
Light snow showers or flurries are possible Tuesday night through Wednesday, but most of that snow will be along the Continental Divide and generally north of I-70. We're going to be warm and windy tomorrow which will lead to high fire danger. As of now, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day both look dry.
