Warm again today with more smoke and haze from fires up north

Today’s Forecast:
The forecast today is very similar to yesterday, but with less fire danger. We'll see and smell smoke in the air once again today, most of that in the morning but smoke will stand out against the mountains in the afternoon when it becomes elevated. Temperatures will be well above average today with lighter winds.

COLORADO SPRINGS: High: 82; Low: 42. Smoky and hazy with light winds and warm daytime temperatures.

PUEBLO: High: 87; Low: 40. Hazy and sunny skies with light winds and hot temperatures.

CANON CITY: High: 85; Low: 50. Areas of smoke and haze with light winds and warm temperatures.

WOODLAND PARK: High: 75; Low: 43. Smoky and mild today with light winds and mild temps.

TRI-LAKES: High: 70s; Low: 40s. Smoky and hazy skies with warm temps and fairly light winds.

PLAINS: High: 80s; Low: 40s. Hot and hazy today with light winds.

WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: High: 80s; Low: 40s. Areas of smoke and haze with warm air and light winds.

Extended Outlook:
The rest of this week is going to be hot with highs in and around records for both Colorado Springs and Pueblo. We're going to see high fire danger on Saturday before a bigger cool down from Sunday to Monday. We no longer see much of a rain chance here at home on Sunday or Monday, but there will likely be rain and snow over the mountains on Sunday.
