Today’s Forecast:
We have an active weather day coming our way with temperatures in the 50s and 60s during the afternoon and wind gusts ranging from 30 to 50 mph. Downslope flow out of the west and northwest will push highs into the 50s and 60s before a cold front sends temperatures down into the teens and 20s overnight.

COLORADO SPRINGS: High: 57; Low: 19. Partly sunny, warm, and windy today with gusts in the 30 to 45 mph range from the afternoon to the early evening. We'll see lows down in the 20s and teens overnight but wind chills will dip down into the single digits by early Wednesday morning.

PUEBLO: High: 64; Low: 17. A mix of clouds and sunshine today with strong wind gusts and warm daytime temperatures. Gusts could range from 40 to 50 mph during the day with a cold front tonight pushing lows into the teens and wind chills into the single digits.

CANON CITY: High: 60; Low: 18. Partly sunny and warm with strong 30 to 40 mph wind gusts during the day and very cold and breezy conditions tonight through Wednesday morning.

WOODLAND PARK: High: 43; Low: 9. Partly sunny and windy today with cool daytime temperatures and gusts in the 30 to 40 mph range. Wind chills tonight could sink to the single digits and negatives as the low falls down to 9 degrees.

TRI-LAKES: High: 40s; Low: 10s. Partly sunny, mild, and very windy today with gusts in the 30 to 40 mph range. Wind chills tonight will likely dip into the low single digits by early Wednesday morning.

PLAINS: High: 60s; Low: 20s. Windy and warm today with gusts today and this evening in the 30 to 50 mph range. We'll see highs in the 60s but lows in the 20s overnight and wind chills in the teens by early Wednesday morning.

WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: High: 50s; Low: 10s. Very windy today under partly sunny skies and warm temperatures. Gusts could be in the 30 to 50 mph range, perhaps a bit higher coming out of La Veta Pass. Overnight the winds will relax and wind chills will dip into the teens by early Wednesday morning.

MOUNTAINS: High: 40s; Low: 10s. Super strong winds over the high country today with snow in the forecast for the Continental Divide and most mountain passes from Monarch Pass north. We should stay dry in the Sangres and Wet Mountains but we could have 35 to 55 mph gusts pretty easily in those regions. Overnight we'll get very cold but the winds should die down better.

Extended Outlook:
We'll be very cold and still breezy on Wednesday morning but with lighter winds and chilly temperatures in the afternoon. Thursday will be warmer but we'll have clouds that will make it feel chilly during the day. Friday should be breezy and cooler with a light snow chance still expected by Saturday.
