Today’s Forecast: This weekend is going to be fantastic, with Saturday the warmest day of the two. Temperatures this afternoon will soar into the 60s around the Springs and Pueblo, with the warmth extending east into the Plains. The downside of today's forecast will be the wind, with gusts 20-40 mph.

COLORADO SPRINGS: High: 60; Low: 33. Temperatures today will be around 15 degrees warmer than yesterday. Increasing clouds and wind on tap for the afternoon hours, with gusts to 30 mph.

PUEBLO: High: 64; Low: 30. Today's forecast a real treat for the first Saturday of December. With a high in the middle 60s, we'll be almost 20 degrees above today's average high.

CANON CITY: High: 63; Low: 35. Windy and warm today. Increasing clouds this afternoon will bring mostly cloudy skies to tonight's forecast.

WOODLAND PARK: High: 50; Low: 26. A nice and mild day on tap for the Teller County high country. Wind will be a factor in the forecast, with gusts to 40 mph. The wind should start to weaken around sunset, just in time for the tree lighting ceremony and parade.

TRI-LAKES: High: 50s; Low: 20s. A wind-whipped Saturday for northern El Paso County today. Highs will be nice and mild during the day, with lows tonight dropping down to the upper 20s.

PLAINS: High: 50s/60s; Low: 20s/30s. We'll see some strong breezes today across the Plains. Otherwise, it'll be a nice and warm early December day followed by a chilly night.

WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: High: 60s; Low: 30s. A beautiful mix of sun and clouds in today's forecast. Breezy and warm this afternoon before turning chilly and more cloudy tonight.

Extended Outlook: Sunday's weather will be cloudier than today, with the wind still quite strong to close out the weekend. Highs on Sunday will drop 4 to 8 degrees, but will still be above average for this time of the year. Our next storm arrives early Monday, and without much fanfare. A dusting to 1" of snow will be possible Monday. Cold temps and a lot of wind will be the bigger story on Monday. Highs slightly cooler Tuesday, with better warming on tap Wednesday and Thursday.
