COLORADO SPRINGS: Low: 25; High: 61. The warm-up will continue on Wednesday as highs climb into the 60s around the Springs.
PUEBLO: Low: 23; High: 66. Seasonably cold morning temperatures will give way to a warm afternoon. Highs look to be more than 10 degrees above average on Wednesday.
CANON CITY: Low: 27; High: 65. Wednesday's forecast will offer up an early preview of spring. Chilly morning temperatures will give way to a nice and mild afternoon.
WOODLAND PARK: Low: 19; High: 54. Sunshine and strong westerly breezes will push temperatures into the 50s on Wednesday. Enjoy!
TRI-LAKES: Low: 20s; High: 50s. Don't forget your winter coat for the morning hours, but prepare to shed those layers in the afternoon as it will turn mild and breezy.
PLAINS: Low: 20s; High: 60s. Sunshine and mild temperatures will make for a beautiful day across the Plains, with breezy southwest winds 10-15 mph. Near critical fire weather conditions will be possible over Baca, Prowers and Bent counties.
WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: Low: 20s; High: 50s/60s. Chilly in the morning on Wednesday followed by a bright, breezy and mild afternoon.
Extended Outlook: A weak cold front will cool temperatures down a good 4-8 degrees on Thursday, with stronger breezes on tap as well. The cool down will be short-lived however, with temperatures expected to soar Friday and Saturday. Highs during this time will warm into the 50s in the mountains, with highs in the 60s and 70s for the rest of Southern Colorado. Our next chance for precipitation comes into play as we wrap up the weekend, with some light rain/snow showers possible late on Sunday.
