A weak cool front will push through southern Colorado today, bringing only a couple days of cool relief to the forecast for the afternoon. The skies will stay sunny and we'll see a touch more wind through the afternoon. Overnight light winds and clear skies will allow for lows to drop down near 50 again by Thursday morning.

WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: High - 80s; Low - 50s. Sunny, dry and breezy across the southern I-25 corridor.
Sunny skies stick around through Thursday with a stronger breeze returning in the afternoon. We'll see dry skies but an increase in clouds Thursday night through Friday. Friday is going to be much cooler and very windy, shaving off about 10 degrees for the daytime high. Isolated rain chances return on Friday, mainly to the mountains and across the Pikes Peak region. Saturday looks cool and dry but with continued gusty winds with a warm up coming for Sunday.
