We're keeping an eye on the possible development of severe thunderstorms in the Pikes Peak Region this evening. Look for storm clouds to form a the same time you're ready to hit the road for the commute home. The risk for severe weather is stronger along the Palmer Divide and to the north and east. Storms would die off across the plains after midnight and we would start Friday mild and dry.

COLORADO SPRINGS: High - 88; Low - 60. Thunderstorms will move out of the mountains at the end of the day with multiple rounds of heavy rain, lightning, and small to moderate sized hail through the evening. Severe chances are low but heavy rain could cause localized flooding in low areas across town, and hail could reach dime to nickel size at the largest.

PUEBLO: High - 97; Low - 63. Thunderstorms are possible at the end of the day, but much more likely through the evening hours. Severe weather is not expected, but heavy rain, strong wind, small hail and lightning are all possible.

Storms will be much more scattered and isolated Friday afternoon, but a few heavy rains are still possible.
