Snow across southern Colorado overnight dumped a foot of snow over the Wet Mountains, but only about an inch through Colorado Springs! Despite the wide and varying snow reports, we're still seeing slick and icy streets through most of the region. We'll stay cold and cloudy for the first half of the day with brighter skies returning through the afternoon. We'll see lighter winds overnight with clearing skies, allowing for temperatures to fall back into the teens and a few single digits.

TRI-LAKES: High: 20s; Low: 10s. Cloudy and cold with clearing skies, breezy and cold conditions through the afternoon.
PLAINS: High: 30s; Low: 10s. Cloudy in the morning with sunny skies and warmer temperatures through the afternoon.
WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: High: 20s; Low: 10s. Lingering flurries in the early morning with mostly dry, cold, and breezy daytime conditions.
Extended Outlook:
We're going to see sunnier skies Wednesday afternoon before cloud cover pushes back in and flurry chances increase for the mountain towns west of I-25. We're going to see a warming trend set up for the end of the week, with Friday looking sunny with highs back into the 50s! So far the weekend looks dry and mild.
