COLORADO SPRINGS: High: 84; Low: 54. Scattered strong to severe thunderstorms are possible in the afternoon and evening hours, but the strongest storms would occur during the daytime. Small hail is likely today in any storms that move over town, but large hail and gusty winds could also happen.
PUEBLO: High: 91; Low: 57. Hot today with scattered strong to severe thunderstorms are possible in the afternoon and evening hours, but the strongest storms would occur during the daytime. Small hail could happen today, but the strongest storms would drop heavy rain, large hail, and strong winds.
CANON CITY: High: 87; Low: 58. Scattered strong to severe thunderstorms are possible in the afternoon and evening hours, but the strongest storms would occur during the daytime. Small hail is likely today in any storms that move over town, but large hail and gusty winds could also happen.
WOODLAND PARK: High: 73; Low: 48. Scattered thunderstorms are likely in the afternoon to evening hours. While storms probably wouldn't get severe, small hail with lots of lightning is possible today.
TRI-LAKES: High: 70s; Low: 50s. Scattered strong to severe thunderstorms are possible in the afternoon and evening hours, but the strongest storms would occur during the daytime. Small hail is likely today in any storms that move over town, but large hail and gusty winds could also happen.
PLAINS: High: 80s; Low: 60s. We're likely going to stay dry in the early afternoon but scattered strong to severe storms are possible in the late day and evening across the region. Large hail, heavy rain, strong winds, and lightning are all possible today.
WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: High: 80s; Low: 50s. Scattered strong to severe thunderstorms are possible in the afternoon and evening hours, but the strongest storms would occur during the daytime. Small hail is likely today in any storms that move over town, but large hail and gusty winds could also happen.
Extended Outlook:
We're going to keep getting storms in the forecast through the next 5 to 6 days. Storms tomorrow will be more scattered and confined to the mountains, but a few will move out to the interstate and plains. Thursday looks drier for areas like Pueblo and the plains but HOT with highs in the upper 80s and 90s. Storms could be stronger on Friday with weaker storm chances into next week.
