The forecast is simple today, we're going to be hot and there will be leftover wildfire smoke. Highs today will be near records today in Colorado Springs and Pueblo with widespread 80s and lower 90s in the plains. Wildfire smoke will not be as thick as it was Wednesday afternoon, but it'll still be hazy out against the mountains.
Red Flag Warnings are in effect today across the eastern border. We'll have a combination of hot and dry air working with strong, gusty winds to increase our fire danger. pic.twitter.com/FfynWd3Vc8— Sam Schreier (@SamASchreier) October 8, 2020
