Extended Outlook:
An upper level low pressure system over California will push closer to the 4 corners region overnight, and that will likely push low clouds, fog, and even patchy drizzle into the plains and I-25 corridor Thursday morning. There is a chance for rain and snow Thursday evening, with snow totals staying pretty low and likely confined to areas that are at 7000 feet or higher, like Monument Hill into Teller County. Friday we could see more afternoon showers in the afternoon, with some snow mixed in over the mountains. Saturday looks dry for now. Sunday there is going to be a strong cold front and possibly a lot of snow.
