Moist and humid air was pushed into Colorado overnight, and it's going to take several hours to dry up and allow for hotter afternoon conditions. We're going to see heavier cloud cover in the first half of the day, followed by drier and hotter afternoon conditions. We should stay dry across the region today.
COLORADO SPRINGS: High: 95; Low: 63. Warm and muggy in the morning with scattered clouds followed by a sunny, hot, and drier feeling afternoon.

TRI-LAKES: High: 80s; Low: 50s. Muggy and cloudy in the morning with hotter, sunnier, and drier air in the afternoon.
PLAINS: High: 90/100s; Low: 60s. Very muggy and cloudy in the morning with very hot and drier air in the afternoon, cloud cover will just take longer to break up into sunshine.

A cold front tonight will bring gusty winds across the region and knock temperatures tomorrow afternoon down a few degrees. We'll see highs in the 90s across most of the lower elevations, but likely no triple-digit temps. There's a small chance for rain on Sunday in and around the mountains, with more small chances for rain mainly in the mountains early next week. Monday looks to be very hot again with upper 90s and lower triple digits across the lower plains.
