Mild and dry for MLK Day in southern Colorado

Today’s Forecast:
Pretty boring weather is expected today across southern Colorado, which is pretty fantastic if you have the day off! We'll see fairly bright skies across the region, but we could still see high level cirrus clouds move into the region as the day goes along. Temperatures will be very seasonal today with highs in the upper 40s for Colorado Springs and mid 50s for Pueblo. Overnight we'll see increasing cloud cover with lows falling into the mid 20s.

COLORADO SPRINGS: High: 49; Low: 27. Mild and dry today with light winds through town.

PUEBLO: High: 53; Low: 23. Warm and dry with calm winds through the daytime.

CANON CITY: High: 54; Low: 34. Warm and dry with light winds across town through the afternoon.

WOODLAND PARK: High: 47; Low: 25. Chilly and dry today with light winds during the day.

TRI-LAKES: High: 40s; Low: 20s. Cool and dry with light winds across the area.

PLAINS: High: 50s; Low: 20s. Warm and dry with a light breeze through the region.

WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: High: 50s; Low: 30s. Warm and breezy with dry skies.

Extended Outlook:
We're looking at mostly dry skies here in southern Colorado this week, other than a small chance for flurries on Wednesday. Most of the snow in Colorado comes to the west from Tuesday to Wednesday, and then again on Thursday. The next weekend looks sunny and dry.
