Today’s Forecast:
Overnight fog and drizzle are colliding with freezing temperature this morning, meaning roads and sidewalks that look wet could be holding a thin layer of ice. Metal railings and stairs are the most likely areas to hold ice this morning, but we've had a few reports that some side streets are in fact slick. The fog and drizzle will not survive long after the sun comes up, meaning the afternoon will be above freezing and pleasant.

COLORADO SPRINGS: High: 45; Low: 28. Morning freezing drizzle and fog through sunrise, with above freezing temps and sunshine by lunch.

PUEBLO: High: 49; Low: 24. Patchy early morning fog but mostly clear skies with above freezing temperatures from mid morning through the afternoon.

CANON CITY: High: 49; Low: 33. Patchy early morning fog but mostly clear skies with above freezing temperatures from mid morning through the afternoon.

WOODLAND PARK: High: 47; Low: 27. Morning patchy fog through sunrise with sunny skies and above freezing temperatures from mid morning to the afternoon.

TRI-LAKES: High: 40s; Low: 20s. Morning freezing drizzle and fog through sunrise, with above freezing temps and sunshine by lunch. Slick commutes over Monument Hill to Denver are a possibility, even with the CDOT treatment.

PLAINS: High: 40s; Low: 20s. Patchy fog, especially for areas above highway 50s east of El Paso County. Most of the area gets to and above freezing by mid morning with mostly sunny skies.

WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: High: 40s; Low: 20s. Patchy early morning fog but mostly clear skies with above freezing temperatures from mid morning through the afternoon.

Extended Outlook:
Amazing temperatures return for Friday and Saturday with sunshine and highs in the 60s and 70s! A cold front Sunday morning will bump highs back into the 50s and 60s, with even cooler air returning by Monday with highs back down near freezing. Light snow or flurries are possible Monday, as well as another chance for freezing fog and drizzle in the morning.
