Today’s Forecast:
We get a sunnier and warmer change in the forecast today! Dry west and northwest winds will increase through the afternoon, pushing the humidity out of our air and allowing temperatures to get toasty. There might be a stray storm or two out in the eastern plains, but most of us will stay dry today.

COLORADO SPRINGS: High: 90; Low: 58. Mostly sunny with scattered afternoon clouds, windy, and dry.

PUEBLO: High: 96; Low: 62. Sunny skies, hot, windy, and dry.

CANON CITY: High: 93; Low: 61. Sunny and windy with dry conditions.

WOODLAND PARK: High: 78; Low: 49. A few more clouds in the afternoon with windy and dry conditions.

TRI-LAKES: High: 70s; Low: 50s. Mostly sunny, warm, and dry with gusty winds.

PLAINS: High: 90s; Low: 60s. Stray storms are possible east of Crowley and Otero counties this afternoon but the strongest storms should stay north and then east of Kiowa Counties.

WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: High: 80s; Low: 50s. A stray storm could develop off the Wet mountains and run into Walsenburg, but most of the region will stay dry, windy, and hot.

Extended Outlook:
A cold front Thursday will knock about 5 to 6 degrees off of our temperatures. We'll stay windy and there could be a few scattered storms that develop in the mountains just west of I-25. Storm chances return across the region from Friday through Monday, but they remain pretty weak and spotty.
