Today’s Forecast:
Scattered daytime and early evening thunderstorms are back again today with some of the warmest air of the week. Highs today will run into the 80s and 90s across the lower elevations. Storm chances during the day will stay best over the mountains, but after 5 pm a few more scattered storms could work their way east into the I-25 corridor. Storms should stay non-severe today.

COLORADO SPRINGS: High: 84; Low: 57. Very warm today with isolated afternoon thunderstorms and a slightly better chance for scattered late day/early evening thunderstorms.

PUEBLO: High: 93; Low: 59. Hot today with isolated afternoon thunderstorms and a slightly better chance for scattered late day/early evening thunderstorms.

CANON CITY: High: 89; Low: 58. Hot today with isolated afternoon thunderstorms and a slightly better chance for scattered late day/early evening thunderstorms.

WOODLAND PARK: High: 72; Low: 51. Scattered daytime showers and thunderstorms with a spotty early evening storm possible.

TRI-LAKES: High: 70s; Low: 50s. Warm today with isolated afternoon thunderstorms and a slightly better chance for scattered late day/early evening thunderstorms.

PLAINS: High: 90s; Low: 60s. HOT across the plains with low to mid 90s expected in the afternoon and only a small chance for isolated thunderstorms in the early evening.

WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: High: 80s; Low: 50s. Very warm with late day or evening thunderstorms, some of which could be pretty heavy out west of I-25 into the mountains and near the Spring burn scar.

Extended Outlook:
We're going to stay hot over the next several days with daytime highs in the lower elevations often either in the mid 80s or lower 90s. Storm chances remain in the forecast over the next several days, mostly in the afternoon and early evening hours. Storms could be strong but severe chances are on the lower end.
