Today’s Forecast:
We're going to be windy across the region today and hot. Smoke from the Pine Gulch, Grizzly Creek, and the new Cameron Peak fires will likely keep blowing into southern Colorado today and tonight. Overnight we'll be dry and mild but there could be clouds that push in from the plains and give us a low cloud deck early tomorrow morning.

COLORADO SPRINGS: High: 93; Low: 61. Hot and windy today with sunny skies and afternoon clouds. We'll likely notice smoke up by Monument Hill, and especially west into the foothills.

PUEBLO: High: 99; Low: 64. Very hot and windy at times today with sunny skies and a few afternoon clouds. There could be some smoke, especially looking west towards the mountains.

CANON CITY: High: 97; Low: 65. Hot and breezy today with smokey skies likely in and around the mountains just outside of town.

WOODLAND PARK: High: 84; Low: 50. Warm and breezy with smoke that could be dense at times today.

TRI-LAKES: High: 80s; Low: 50s. Warm and windy today with a chance for smoke to be dense at times in and around Monument Hill, especially on the north side of the hill.

PLAINS: High: 90/100s; Low: 60s. Very hot and windy today with high level haze and smoke possible later today.

WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: High: 90s; Low: 60s. Hot and breezy today with limited smoke blowing all the way down south.

Extended Outlook:
There will be more east winds tomorrow and a much cooler day compared to today. We'll be mostly dry tomorrow, but easterly winds could try and spark a stray storm in El Paso County, or over our southern mountains. We'll see a better chance for spotty storms on Sunday, with more rain chances through early next week.
