CANON CITY: High: 88; Low: 55. Red Flag Warnings through the evening with hot, breezy conditions and very high fire danger.

WOODLAND PARK: High: 77; Low: 48. Warm with increasing sunshine and gusty afternoon winds.

TRI-LAKES: High: 70s; Low: 40s. Very warm with stronger afternoon winds and increasing daytime sunshine. Fire danger is elevated today.

PLAINS: High: 80/90s; Low: 50s. Hot with sunny daytime skies, gusty afternoon winds, and elevated fire danger.

WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: High: 80s; Low: 50s. Hot and windy across the region with Red Flag Warnings in place across the region.

Extended Outlook:
Tomorrow will be another day for high fire danger with highs back in the 80s and 90s. We have a chance for spotty thunderstorms in the mountains and eastern El Paso County, but dry air will make it so gusty winds and maybe lightning are about all that falls out of thunderstorms. Wednesday looks a bit cooler but with very strong winds. We're dry and a bit cooler through the end of the week.
