Tonight’s Forecast: We'll see a break tonight from the frigid cold air that we saw last nigth as westerly winds blow off the mountains and into the Plains. Instead of single digits and teens, our forecast for tonight will feature mostly 20s and 30s across Southern Colorado.

COLORADO SPRINGS: Low: 32; High: 58. Chilly in the morning, but not as cold as the airmass moderates over Southern Colorado. The afternoon hours will be mild and windy, with gusts to 30 mph.

PUEBLO: Low: 27; High: 63. A beautiful fall day on Wednesday in Pueblo. Wear your jacket in the morning as you head out the door, but shed those layers in the afternoon as highs climb into the 60s.

CANON CITY: Low: 33; High: 63. Dry skies and breezy downslope winds will push temperatures into the lower 60s on Wednesday.

WOODLAND PARK: Low: 27; High: 56. A mild mix of sun and clouds on Wednesday for Teller County. Even in the high country, temperatures look to warm into the 50s.

TRI-LAKES: Low: 30s; High: 50s. Lows near freezing and a chilly start to your Wednesday. The afternoon hours will be partly cloudy, mild and windy, with gusts to 30 mph.

PLAINS: Low: 20s; High: 50s/60s. A cold start on Wednesday will give way to a mild, breezy and beautiful afternoon.

WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: Low: 20s/30s; High: 50s/60s. Mostly sunny, dry and breezy on Wednesday, with highs near 60 degrees.

Extended Outlook: A nice cool down takes place on Thursday, the result of a Wednesday afternoon cold front pushing through Southern Colorado. After Thursday's brief cool down, temperatures will warm by more than a dozen degrees to close out the week. Friday's weather will be fantastic, with highs soaring into the 60s and very low 70s. Our next storm moves in this weekend, with a mix of rain and snow from late Saturday afternoon through early Sunday morning. Amounts don't look that impressive as this system appears to be a quick-hitter.
