Cooler on Tuesday, with plenty of sunshine

Tonight's Forecast: Windy this evening across Southern Colorado, with increasing clouds as a cold front passes overhead. This will bring us a colder night, with overnight lows dropping down to the 30s and 40s.

COLORADO SPRINGS: Low: 37; High: 68. Tuesday's weather will be cooler, with highs warming into the upper 60s in the Springs. Breezy south winds 10-15 mph.

PUEBLO: Low: 40; High: 75. A few days of cooler weather moves in starting on Tuesday. Even with the cool down, we're looking at sunshine and 70s for Pueblo.

CANON CITY: Low: 42; High: 74. With partly cloudy skies and 70s for highs, Tuesday's weather will be absolutely beautiful.

WOODLAND PARK: Low: 30; High: 61. Temperatures will be below freezing early Tuesday morning before warming into the lower 60s by the afternoon.

TRI-LAKES: Low: 30s; High: 60s. Dry skies, with plenty of sunshine ahead for our Tuesday. Highs will be a little cooler, but near seasonal for this time of the year.

PLAINS: Low: 30s/40s; High: 70s. Partly cloudy and cooler on Tuesday, with highs in the 70s. There could be a few isolated showers that develop over eastern Las Animas County, but for the most part, dry skies are expected.

WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: Low: 40s; High: 70s. Tuesday's weather for the southern I-25 corridor will be really, really nice. Highs will warm into the lower 70s under partly cloudy skies, with only a slight chance of an afternoon shower.

Extended Outlook: Dry skies will extend into the rest of the week. Highs will warm slightly on Wednesday, with better warming ahead on Thursday. A sharp cool down on Friday will drop highs back down to the 40s, 50s and very low 60s. For Mother's Day weekend, we're looking mild, with a mix of 50s, 60s and very low 70s.
