Today’s Forecast:
Light snow is on the way tonight, and we'll be cloudy and cold before it arrives! A thick cloud deck should develop today and that will help keep temperatures at or below 40 degrees for most of the region.

Snow will start falling tonight and should finish in the southeast plains through Tuesday morning. We should see the heaviest accumulations in and around the Wet and Sangre De Cristo mountains, as well as a few slick spots south and east of Pueblo. Remember, even an inch of snow can make the roads slick and icy, so drive slow and leave early for tomorrow morning's commute.

COLORADO SPRINGS: High: 38; Low: 19. Cloudy and cold with light winds. Light snow showers with 10-20 mph winds will develop tonight, mainly after 6 pm but accumulations look to stay at or below 1 inch unless you live up closer to Monument, Black Forest, or west near the foothills.

PUEBLO: High: 40; Low: 19. Overcast and cold today with a light daytime breeze. Light snow will develop tonight with 10-20 mph winds, mainly after 8 pm through early Tuesday morning. Snow accumulations should stay at or below an inch for most of town, probably a little higher for Pueblo West.

CANON CITY: High: 43; Low: 20. Cloudy and cold today with light winds and dry skies. Light snow will move in overnight with breezy north winds and finish early tomorrow morning. Canon City and the surrounding towns should see around 1 to 2 inches through Tuesday morning.

WOODLAND PARK: High: 35; Low: 10. Overcast and cold today with light winds and dry skies during the day. We'll see snow and gusty winds push through tonight, likely anytime after 5pm and stop snowing early Tuesday morning. We could see slick roads overnight and early Tuesday as 1-3 inches is possible in most of Teller County.

TRI-LAKES: High: 30s; Low: 10s. Cloudy and cold with light winds. Snow showers and strong winds will move in tonight with snow likely starting anytime after 6 pm. We could see 1 to 3 inches by Tuesday morning, meaning commutes through the region and over Monument Hill on I-25 could be very slick and icy.

PLAINS: High: 20/30s; Low: 20s. Overcast and cold with light winds. An isolated daytime shower is possible east of La Junta, but most of us look dry until the snow arrives overnight. Snow should develop and move east of I-25 anytime after 10 pm and snow through mid-morning Tuesday. We could see anywhere from a dusting to 3 inches of snow across the plains with the heaviest snow expected for areas south of Highway 50.

WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: High: 30s; Low: 10s. Cold and cloudy today with light snow and stronger winds moving tonight. Snow should start falling anytime after 10 pm and continue through the mid-morning Tuesday. We'll see decent snow accumulations from Walsenburg to Trinidad, and heavier accumulations west towards La Veta Pass.

MOUNTAINS: High: 30s; Low: 10s. Cold and cloudy today with late day and evening snow that will last into early Tuesday morning. Snow totals will be heaviest in the Wet and Sangre De Cristo mountains and surrounding towns. We should be dry Tuesday by mid-morning with cold and slick morning drives.

Extended Outlook:
The rest of the week looks mostly dry other than flurries that might fall on Friday. We'll be warmer in the middle of the week with a weak cool down by Friday. The weekend looks sunny and dry.
