Today’s Forecast:
July is here and it's going to bring a fantastic day of weather! We're going to see sunny skies across the region with a gusty cooling breeze in the afternoon and highs warming into the 80s and 90s later today. The skies should stay dry and we don't have enough wind and low humidity for critical fire danger today. Overnight we'll be clear and calm with lows in the 50s and 60s.

COLORADO SPRINGS: High: 84; Low: 54. Sunny, warm, and windy in the afternoon.

PUEBLO: High: 90; Low: 57. Sunny and hot today with an afternoon cooling breeze.

CANON CITY: High: 87; Low: 56. Sunny and hot with a gusty afternoon wind.

WOODLAND PARK: High: 78; Low: 49. Sunny and very nice temperatures with stronger daytime winds.

TRI-LAKES: High: 70s; Low: 50s. Sunny, warm, and windy in the afternoon.

PLAINS: High: 90s; Low: 60s. Sunny and hot with a stronger daytime wind.

WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: High: 80s; Low: 50s. Sunny and hot with stronger gusty winds in the afternoon.

Extended Outlook:
Thursday looks hotter with spotty storms developing off the Raton Mesa and spreading east into the plains along and south of Highway 50 in the afternoon. More widespread storms start to show up by Friday with storm chances continuing through Monday. Saturday, July 4th, we could see some of the stronger and heavier storms of the weekend but severe weather chances remain on the low end.
