Calm and mild today before a winter storm Wednesday night

Today’s Forecast:
The weather is incredibly calm and mild today with high pressure keeping sunny skies over most of Colorado. We'll see a quick warm up after a frigid morning, with highs in the 50s and 60s through the region in the afternoon. There are no weather alerts for fires today with light winds and higher humidity.

COLORADO SPRINGS: High - 60; Low - 35. Sunny, light winds, and cool.

PUEBLO: High - 65; Low - 32. Sunny, light winds, and mild.

CANON CITY: High - 64; Low - 38. Sunny, light winds, and mild.

WOODLAND PARK: High - 55; Low - 30. Sunny, light winds, and chilly.

TRI-LAKES: High - 40s; Low - 20s. Sunny, light winds, and chilly.

PLAINS: High - 60s; Low - 30s. Sunny, light winds, and mild.

WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: High - 60s; Low - 30s. Sunny, light winds, and crisp.

Extended Outlook:
A snow storm will move into southern Colorado Wednesday evening through Thursday morning. Snowfall looks heavy over the mountains and the Palmer Divide, as well as the Raton Mesa. Snowfall totals will range from 3 to 6 inches in Colorado Springs, 1 to 3 in Pueblo, 3 to 5 in Canon City, 8 to 12 in Woodland Park, and 4 to 6 in Trinidad.
